Cookies
The sad/awesome thing about this comic is that it is probably one of the more labor intensive comics that I've ever made, and it's about making cookies. Well I like it!
Also I haven't done the dishes yet. Because I've been working on this comic for three hours.

Utensil
I don't know why I like the marriage of technical tools and soft painted textured colors, but I do! I'm into it right now. I like the insides of machines and how things work and color gradients.
Some knives! To hang in my kitchen when I move in the Fall. Some of my favorite coral and peach colors.
Leona Naess is rockin' it.

clik clik ding
I have been itching to paint for so many weeks, but I wanted something big! Big Big Big! I want to paint on walls and alleyways and make it huge. I had never bought anything larger then like, a 10 inch canvas before. So today I went on over to blick and purchased a fairly large canvas, with basically no plan for it. Except blue.
The painting I think about lately has been very blue. I notice that when I am thinking about painting or drawing (When I'm not in the shower or driving, which are my usual "brainstorming" sessions) I get a lot of weird looks. I think I'm fuzzily looking into space biting my lip. Or perhaps breathing with my mouth open and drooling. Who knows! I had a nice day looking around Elliot Bay Books and eating lunch at Oddfellows. And now I have to go to work. But not before posting a process photo of the new painting. Very inspired by this:

And a conversation yesterday about potential tattoos.
I'm not sure if it's done. I'll have to hang it and stare it at for an hour when it dries.
And my pink toes! For size comparison.
That's india ink yo! It ain't comin' out!

Fremont Solstice Festival
And then I drank to forget my troubles and the peely, itchy paint all over my body.
Despite being a complete wreck of a bike ride/parade, it was a really fun day. And those are the kind of people you want to spend time with; where things could be awful and disappointing , and instead they are not.
I hope if you were not riding in the parade, you at least got to see some naked bodies. There were many. Next year I will have a plan for my paint (And a bicycle?) and it will be epic.
In other news: I am never riding a rickshaw again.
Imagine Dragons is my jam today!

Ring Ring, It's Zombies
True story. Not pictured: when I threw pieces of firewood at ghosts and screamed, "I banish you!"
Weird weird dreams.

This Post Brought to You By: Nakedness
This picture was drawn listening to a lot of this:
And this naked honey was probably inspired by a lot of this action:
Or Yarn. It was inspired by yarn.
I just get a lot of requests for pictures of my dancing in my underwear. (No, I don't really. I don't actually get any requests, surprise!)
This is what I'm doing a lot of lately though, so that's what you get. Work, dancing in underwear, repeat. It's a hard life, but someones gotta live it, you know?

A Two Parter Whaaat
Page two will be posted... Eventually. Perhaps tomorrow if I'm feeling extra motivated. You'll just have to imagine what I would do if I was a performer in the circus.
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm excited for mine on Monday...

In the Stacks
I would like to recreate this with real books and have a book photo shoot.
Nerd alert.
