Capitol Hill Art Walk

Yeeeeeeah! Poster I designed for the Capitol Hill Art Walk, 

which I ASSUME all of you are going to be attending if you live in Seattle. It is an awesome opportunity to see amazing art and meet local artists. 

This is gonna be a bangin' party and I hope to see all of you there!

I will be volunteering at the event, and I also have art in a show at Cafe Vita! So check that out!

The Six Swans

Hello Friends! I have been in China on vacation having a blast! I have some awesome dailies I need to post, but in the meantime here is a piece for the "I Heart Comic Art" show that will be hanging in Cafe Vita on Pike through the month of June! Go check it out.

I recently read 'Daughter of the Forest' which is a great retelling of a classic Irish fairy tale in which a girl has to sew six shirts out of thistles for her brothers who have been transformed into swans. It's a really beautiful story. Hopefully I did it justice with my one page! 

I Heart Comic Art

Hey guys! As you can see, I have had the amazing opportunity to participate in the first annual I Heart Comic Art contest for aspiring cartoonists. It would be a huge deal for me if I won this competition, and you can help. I have the chance to win a grant that would essentially help me continue to write and publish the book I've been working on. 

As a student who is already in the hole with student loans, a grant is an answer to many prayers.
